DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! ***** MUST READ TILL THE END!!Marc Pressman came to my house and brought his looseleaf with him. He had all kinds of docs saying that he was the best. I took him down to my newley finished basement and showed him exactly where the water was coming from. He said "no problem, we are experts and can fix this guaranteed". He took my deposit and sent his team down. Michael was the man working on the job. Super nice guy, very clean and looking to do minimal damage to the floor ( he would be better off starting his own company). They installed the drain and the pump and told me my water problems were over.A couple of months later we had a couple of days of solid rain and the basement was flooded again!! I thought maybe the pump didn't work so I took the cover over the tank and it was bone dry!. The water never even went into the tank. Immediately I called the company and got a message " Due to severe weather conditions no one is available to take your call...leave a message." Three days later my message was returned . They sent someone to the house and he said ,well everything is dry now so I cant really tell where the water came in from. Lets wait till it happens again and then I"ll come back. Sure enough last week it rained like crazy and my basement was flooded again. Immediately I called Marc Pressman and he said I cant help you, you need to call the office. I told him I guess you only take the peoples money otherwise you cant help. So I called the office right away sent them pictures, and told them to send someone down asap so they can trace the water. Its been 5 days now and they never called back and of course the water subsided by now.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WON"T SERVICE YOU WHEN THINGS DON"T WORK!!!.... I WILL CONTINUE TO POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND REPORT THEM TO BBB AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS UNTIL THEY MAKE THINGS RIGHT.Follow up to a past review.A couple of weeks ago I sent out a review stating DON'T USE THESE GUYS. Since then I was contacted by John the owner of the business and he sincerely wanted to solve the issue. He sent down one of his top men Mike Schmanek Sr. who has 18 years of experience and within minuets he spotted the problem. In less than a week he was back with his team to solve the problem....as Mike said "let it rain hard because we have you covered." His determination to get the job done and done right is a testament to him and the company. Hopefully his experience will pay off and I will have a dry basement. Once again I cant emphasize enough about the care and cleanliness he displayed for my property.will follow up again after a good rainstorm hopefully able to report some great news.Thank you John and Mike for your diligence in making this right.UPDATE JAN. 8 2014John and the crew turned out to be very good and reliable. I even recommended them to 2 of my very close friends. At the end of the day when everything was said and done i was very satisfied with the work and have a dry basement after a few good rain showers.

We recently Had our basement done by Affordable Waterproofing. We always had a water issue on our floors and up the walls. Mike and his team were fantastic. Always communicating and the service was wonderful. They got the job done in under 5 days and my basement is now dry and you don't have that "wet-feel" in it anymore. thank you Mike, Uncle John and the entire crew for making our basement dry again !

Words can’t describe how THRILLED & THANKFUL I am with the work that Affordable Waterproofing LLC did in my crawl space. Gary was awesome and provided me with such clear, detailed information- it was a no brainer to go with this company over the three other companies I had met with. Then Mike and his crew went ABOVE & BEYOND cleaning out the garbage, mold and old broken sump pump that had been there for way too long. They were so dedicated and hard working- I am beyond impressed and overjoyed with the final results- they did AMAZING!! I am so very thankful that I found this company!! Great people & great job!!!! I have used Affordable Waterproofing for my basement; got no other quote they met me at my home and the salesperson discussed what they were going to do and he advise me,that the job would be done in 2 days which it was . There was a little issued that was quickly resolved with John who owns the company. I wouldn't not only use this company again I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends, that is how sure that they would not me look bad by recommending them. Again John and the crew thanks for what you guys did, you guys are great.

This here is a repost with an update on the service I received from this company.I was initially extremely disappointed in "ONE" of their employees who was a salesman who actually portrayed himself as an owner and sold my wife and I lies to get the contract signed and then never came through with any of those promises. I wrote a negative review about that experience. I then subsequently received a phone from the true owner! He was very polite, professional and inquired about what lead to my negative experience. He apologized for the actions of the employee and would not let me get off the phone without discussing what he could do as the owner to "make it right".Needless to say I was impressed by his dedication to my satisfaction as a consumer. I was also ensured the initial salesman would be educated and trained on the proper ways of offering their services.I leave this situation very satisfied as a consumer after a bad start. The crew that completed the work were on time, courteous& professional. The owner is a good businessman dedicated to ensuring his customers are happy. I would recommend them.

We hired Affordable Waterproofing for our basement of our 80 year old home. We had serious flooding issues and they did a great job. There were a couple issues at first, but they came right out addressed them and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The workers were very professional and courteous, especially Mike. I would highly recommend them.

We used Affordable to correct issues in our basement 7 years ago which included a new drainage system, new sump well and corrections to our basement wall down to the foundation. When we had an issue, they came back and corrected it under their warranty. They are true to their word. They are friendly, polite and professional. Highly Recommended.

They waterproofed my basement something I've needed done for years. They had everything done in just 2 days it was crazy. They move all of your stuff for you. They gave me a great deal and made it so I didn't have to do any financing so they saves me in interest charges. I did have 2 minor problems which I dealt with John with and he handled both very professional and promptly. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Affordable Waterproofing should add a word to their name: AMAZING!! The team, led by Mike, did a great job, was totally professional, left the house spotless-clean when they were done, couldn't have been nicer and went above and beyond in every way. Mike's supervision and satisfaction with the work was at a level no less than if he was doing his own home! This whole experience was one for our record books, where they not only did what was agreed to, but did it efficiently, effectively, in a friendly manner and totally professionally!

My basement would always get water after a good rain leaving things moldy. After a day spent tossing many valuables away I decided to make some calls for water proofing. I called several companies for estimates and Affordable Waterproofing was the first to respond with an estimate that was better than everyone else. They immediately put us in their schedule and before I knew it they were there working hard. As a Real Estate professional, I've been referring Affordable water proofing for 10 years and all my clients have always been satisfied. Professional!!! On time!!! Very efficient and well organized! We just moved in and had a water problem in our basement. The Affordable Waterproofing LLC team; covered furniture, boxes and our large aquarium that was in the basement! They installed a French Drain and we are extremely happy with the work that was done by this team! We had a sump pump system installed in our basement. The team of young guys that were sent to our house to do the job were highly professional, friendly, and hard-working. They did our entire basement in two half-days (9am-1pm). They were on-time each day and got right to work upon arriving. Mike and Raymond, the two leads assigned to the job, kept us updated the entire time on the progress of the project and were very knowledgeable in answering our many questions. The work that they completed looks great. I'm very pleased to write this review, and recommend this company.

Affordable Waterproofing replaced my entire sump pump system and they did a fantastic job. Raymond, Mike, Don, Doug and Tony worked efficiently and were very friendly. They informed me about the process and made sure they didn't leave any mess each day and they were there 4 days. So glad we found affordable waterproofing! We recently purchased our home and discovered that we had water coming up through the basement floor after heavy rains. Affordable waterproofing gave us the best estimate and plan to waterproof our basement. Bill has been wonderful and worked within our budget to get the job done. Using this company was the easiest part of getting my home ready to sell. I called them and they had someone immediately out for the free estimate and were able to start the job the next day. The additional investment in my basement definitely paid off. I was getting at least 6 inches of water or more every time it rained. Now my basement is completely dry and it feels very comfortable. We recently had Affordable Waterproofing come out and provide an estimate for mold removal and waterproofing services. The estimator that came out was very professional and was able to provide a ton of references and resources that helped us make a decision to move forward with the work. The team that came out to do the work was very professional and was able to provide us with a new waterproofing system that can handle the amount of water we get in the East Riverton section of Cinnaminson. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent. They left the basement cleaner than how they found it. The mold is now gone, the walls appear to be drying out, and we now have a sense of security around our water issues which is key being so close to the Delaware. Thanks to all at Affordable Waterproofing, we would recommend them to all!

William came out to give us an estimate and explained the many ways to repair the leaks. He then explained why we should take his recommendation. It all made sense and we signed up.Michael came out the next week with a crew and did everything that had been explained. They were very efficient and cleaned up very well. UPDATED REVIEW: see below I didn't give 5 star because there are some issues not resolved but I am hopeful they will be soon.We appreciate that we once had water in our old cellar which hopefully is resolved. This company was thorough. Michael and his crew were here 1 day and knocked out the job really quickly thought it would take much longer supposedly a day and they would be coming back for part of another day as William the rep for the company ,told us whom by the way we didn't feel pressured into signing any contract, he was very nice and thorough ....anyway like I said there are still a few issues and with all the rain heading our way this will be the test of time to challenge the guarantee :-) . Thank you Affordable Waterproofing for all you did and the basement smells much better I can tell you that much I will update after the rain :-) how the water situation is going. Having lung issues myself it's helpful to breathe better for sureUPDATE: This issue has been resolved...we were contacted and a guy sent out to resolve what we felt needed to be addressed. We had a section of our basement waterproofed with an inside French drain and sump pump. The construction team headed by Michael was very professional. There was a section under the basement stairs that needed that could not be reached with the large jackhammer. So they came back the very next day to finish job with a smaller jackhammer. Everything passed inspection with no issues. We had 3 estimates and their price beat all the others and included a discount for signing up during the first week of January which is a slow week for them.

From the minute we had our estimate done to the finished project Affordable Waterproofing made this so easy and affordable. The crew was the most respectful construction workers I have ever dealt with. They worked from 8am to 7pm with no breaks. They did an amazing job on my not so amazing basement and had it cleaned up better than what it was before they started. They went above and beyond for me and my family to make the hardest project of the house complete with no worries. The best around hands down!

The work crew was efficient and very respectful of our home. They put up plastic to contain the dust so that it wasn't everywhere and left the basement clean. They provided updates throughout the project at each stage. Very polite and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is to offer follow up service. It is just my daughter and myself and we need to navigate moving the washer, dryer and utility sink and reconnecting same. By the way guys, you left my bilco doors wide open when you left...in the snow squall.

I had water coming through my basement wall. Called for an estimate, they responded quickly, gave me a price and made the repairs three days later. Repair took less than a day and they left my basement cleaner than it was when they got there. All work professionally done at a truly reasonable price.
